Ronald Smith, President/Business Agent - has been with the District for 25 years and started as a part-time Bus Operator. Graduated at Heald College his major in Interior Design. Ron was born and raised in Oakland California.
Gene Rimando, Vice-President - is a Mechanic B who has been with the District for 23 years and started working for Samtrans as telephone operator which is now called Customer Service Rep, Gene also had held other position in different department of Samtrans during his 23 years with the District.
Ernie Solero, Secretary-Treasurer - has been with the District for 10 years, his bus driving career started in San Diego California in early 2001 and September 2001 was hired at Samtrans as a Bus Operator. Prior to driving a bus he worked for Kaiser Permanente for 7 years as Accounts Administrator Representative. Ernie graduated at Heald College in Hayward major in Business Accounting.
